Recording sessions on Hotjar

Once enabled, recordings will start collecting data as soon as the Hotjar Tracking Code is installed and session capture is enabled.

How to record sessions on hotjar?

To verify that session capture is enabled, click on the traffic coverage widget in the top-right corner of the page.
Session Recording can be easily enabled by following these steps:
- Go to your Account Settings
- Select Recording from the options
- Enable Session Recording
- Save your changes
